Feeling the Love!!!

Having a baby is a huge blessing in itself, but when you add the excitement from friends it makes it even better! Last Thursday I thought I was going to a work appreciation lunch with Phil, however when I walked into the restaurant all my neighbors were there yelling SURPRISE!!! So sweet and thoughtful of them! I had no idea so kudos to Phil and all my neighbors for pulling off a lil' secret! We had a nice lunch complete with yummy cupcakes and gifts to prepare for the arrival of lil' Carter!!!
and....
yesterday we had a girls day with my Marietta group of friends. We went to lunch in Smyrna and headed back to our friend Robyn's house to hang out for the afternoon. We were taking a tour of her new home and as we entered the kitchen another surprise awaited! There was an adorable banner with Carter's name on it & a yummy cookie cake on the table in addition to more goodies that I need upon the arrival of this lil' fella!
So...a big thank you to my sweet friends for loving me so well and sharing in joy of this special time for Phil and I as we prepare to become a family of 4!!!

Rockettes!

Meet Margaret....a wonderfully, amazing, talented dancer that is a dedicated Rockette who we are blessed to call our friend! She has been a Rockette for 9 years and we were fortunate enough to see her in action last weekend at Cobb Energy! Phil went to Tech with Ryan (Margaret's hubby) and we adore them both. The group photo below is the majority of our Georgia Tech supper club group that we try to get together with once a month. When we found out part of Margaret's tour would be in Atlanta we knew we had to go! So...our November supper club was a night out to dinner and the Rockettes show! We had awesome seats and were able to see Margaret up close dancing the night away. After the show we had about 10 minutes to snap photos and feel lucky that we knew a true Rockette!

Pumpkin Fun!

More fall fun....visiting the Pumpkin Patch at Carlton Farms in Rockmart and painting pumpkins with our small group at an assisted living home nearby.
*
This is the 2nd year that a big group of sweet friends/neighbors have gone to Carlton Farms Pumpkin Patch! We had a great visit despite the chilly temp that morning.
All the kiddos!

 checking out the chickens!

 hanging with the big boys!

feeding the cows on the hay ride
 "driving" the tractor

Our small group met at a near by assisted living and painted pumpkins with the elders.

 Elizabeth and Turner
 Karen and Emma
 Cooper and I
Let me just tell you this lady looooooved Phil. I think she smooched him 2-3 times while we were there!
 Cooper with Anderson and Turner
 making scary faces!
can you tell Cooper was over it at this point? These are the kiddos from our small group that were able to make it. We missed those that couldn't be there.
After painting pumpkins we went to BurgerFi for lunch and to see the trains!
 the kids loved it!

Baby Bump(S)

Anyone that has anticipated the arrival of a lil' one knows it's fun to experience it with a close friend....I must say it's pretty special to experience this exciting time with your sister! Carly and I are exactly a month apart and both expecting lil' boys! Mom arranged for one of our sweet friends take a few bump shots of us together while Carly was in town. These were taken when I was 6 months pregnant and Carly 7 months along. The countdown is on.....Carly has 7 weeks to go and I have 11! The next time we see each other we'll both have two lil' peanuts to love on! AHHHHH!!!

She's stunning!!! Pregnancy definitely suits her!
