Montana trip!

Whew....this post has taken some time to put together. In July Cooper and I flew out to see Aunt Carly & Uncle Ty! Mom and Dad drove out there a week prior and we stayed for a week with all of them.  Cooper and I flew from Atl to Denver, then to Billings and finally to Glasgow, MT. Thankfully, all prayers were answered and Cooper did great during our long day of travel. 

 

We loved being in Big Sky country with Carly & Ty. We relaxed, played games, rode horses, went on walks, helped paint and rearrange, ate yummy meals and met some of their friends.  We wished they lived closer, but love that we have such a cool place to go visit.

Dru & Dave's Wedding!

July 28th we were in Charlotte for my dear friend Drucilla (Dru) & Dave's wedding! It's always a blast catching up with my college buddies and celebrating a wedding! This one was extra special for all of us because the reception was at Queens (where I went to school). It was probably the quickest trip I've ever taken to Charlotte, but due to moving & packing we couldn't stay the entire weekend. So Phil and I zipped up there Saturday morning. Arrived around 3:30, left for the wedding at 4:30 and headed back Sunday morning around 9. whew! Well worth it though and so happy to celebrate Dru & Dave. It was a beautiful ceremony and super fun reception! Congrats Dru & Dave!

Home Sweet Home

We moved!!! Ahhhhh!!!!! We apologize to anyone that might not have known we moved....it all happened very quickly! We are only about 10 -15 min from where we use to live.  We are in a swim/tennis neighborhood called Bentwater.  It's closer to work for Phil, plenty of room for us to grow into and in a great area! Our new neighbors have given us a warm welcome in addition to the friends we already know that live in the neighborhood as well.

In addition to moving, Cooper and I were in Montana with my parents visiting Uncle Ty and Aunt Carly at the end of July (lots of pictures to share soon), we went to Charlotte for a friend's wedding, Phil had a big project at work, Phil's family from England is here visiting and we celebrated my 30th birthday! Thankfully, with the help of friends and family it has been a smooth transition into our new home!

As you all know we were truly blessed with a wonderful neighborhood prior to this home. It was the home Phil and I bought together and came to after our honeymoon, the place we brought Cooper home from the hospital, a place where we made special memories and a neighborhood that we made lasting friendships with our Timberland family.  We are thankful for our time there and are excited about this next phase of our life as well!
